Role summary

Job Purpose: To lead, strategize, and oversee fire safety policies and compliance across all group businesses, ensuring risk mitigation, regulatory adherence, and innovation in fire safety practices while fostering a culture of safety and resilience.

Responsibilities

Understand the organization's overall strategy and plan for the Fire and Safety function, and provides inputs for strategy formulation, with the aim of supporting functional goals

Establish and implement a comprehensive fire safety strategy aligned with the group’s longterm vision and operational goals across all the organization businesses.

Evaluate and integrate businessspecific fire safety requirements into groupwide frameworks, ensuring contextual relevance and scalability.

Drive periodic reviews with business heads to assess the alignment of fire safety measures with organizational priorities.

Develop and operationalize a risk assessment framework for identifying, evaluating, and mitigating firerelated risks across diverse industries.

Establish protocols for continuous monitoring of fire risks, including highrisk industries such as manufacturing, logistics, and infrastructure.

Deploy risk control measures tailored to businessspecific needs, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Design, implement, and test groupwide fire emergency response and incident management plans to ensure preparedness for critical situations.

Lead crossfunctional crisis management teams during fire emergencies, ensuring a coordinated response and safeguarding lives and assets.

Oversee postincident investigations, ensuring comprehensive root cause analysis and implementation of corrective measures.

Ensure compliance with national and international fire safety regulations across all group businesses, maintaining a centralized compliance dashboard that can be shared with leadership team.

Audit fire safety measures and systems to identify gaps, ensure adherence, and recommend improvements across businesses tailored to thier secotral needs

Represent the group in regulatory forums, advocating for policies and standards that align with business needs.

Drive standardization of fire safety compliance across businesses, ensuring seamless reporting and transparency.

Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies in fire prevention, detection, and suppression.

Lead pilots for innovative fire safety solutions, such as IoTenabled sensors or AIbased risk prediction.

Establish R&D initiatives to continuously enhance fire safety standards and practices.

Lead the planning, engineering, and design of Fire Alarm & Public Address (FAPA) systems, CCTV systems, and associated ELV infrastructure for high-rise and large-scale developments.

Ensure compliance with applicable National and International Fire Safety Codes & Standards, including NBC, NFPA, BS/EN, and other relevant regulations.

Establish and optimize centralized fire monitoring and control room operations, ensuring real-time monitoring of

Review cause-and-effect matrices, system architecture, zoning philosophy, network design, and automation logic for integrated fire protection systems.

Provide technical leadership during design reviews, commissioning, testing, and handover stages.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Fire Engineering or equivalent)

Minimum 12-14 years of proven experience in planning and designing FAPA and CCTV systems.

Demonstrated experience in delivering fire safety technology solutions for high-rise buildings and large-area developments.

Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's Degree, Additional Degrees or Certification in Security Management preferred

Minimum 15 years in the corporate security field, fire, safety field
