Requirements
Education: Degree (or currently pursuing one) in Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Core Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with PLC programming per IEC 61131-3 (ST, LD, FBD) on at least one automation platform; ability to develop, test, and troubleshoot safety-related control logic; understanding of industrial communication and safety networks (EtherCAT, PROFINET, FSoE, PROFIsafe, CIP Safety) as well as I/O systems, fieldbus communication, sensors/actuators, and motion control/servo drives
Robotics Fundamentals: Basic understanding of coordinate systems, Tool Center Point (TCP), and joint/Cartesian motion; knowledge of robot kinematics and dynamics and exposure to industrial or collaborative robots is preferred
Programming & Development Tools: Proficiency in Python for scripting, testing, automation, or data analysis; C++ knowledge is a plus; experience with version control systems such as Git
Additional Preferred Skills: Awareness of functional safety standards (ISO 13849, , ); experience in commissioning, debugging, and validating machine safety functions; strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams with good communication and documentation skills
