Role summary
You will join a small, senior system test team in our Safety, Sensing and Industrial Components business.
Responsibilities
- Own system test end to end for your products: turn requirements into risk-based test plans, then execute functional, interoperability, timing and fault-injection tests.
- Build and improve hardware test rigs with safety controllers, safety light curtains, IO-Link masters and EtherNet/IP networks.
- Validate that the system enters a safe state and reports the right diagnostics when faults occur.
- Root-cause complex, cross-domain issues together with development and drive them to closure.
- Grow our test automation and contribute to test strategy and coverage.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics, Controls or Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience in system, integration or hardware test.
- Professional experience testing electronic or industrial automation products, hands-on with test hardware.
- English language skills at CEFR B2 level or above.
Nice to have
- Three or more years in system or integration test of industrial automation, machine safety or electronics products.
- Experience with an industrial network — EtherNet/IP and CIP, or a comparable one such as PROFINET or EtherCAT.
- Experience with safety or smart-device technologies such as GuardLink, OSSD safety outputs, IO-Link or safety light curtains.
- Test automation experience with Python, LabVIEW or TestStand, and comfort with lab instruments such as an oscilloscope and programmable power supply.
